Changes in OCEAN SOUL line-up.
CESAR CASTRO (Havora and Loud Society) is the new bass player, replacing Igor Thurler, who had to leave the band due to several professional commitments.

- First Ocean Soul gig of the year will take place on May 06that Clube Mackenzie (Méier - RJ) and they'll have very good company!!
They will share the stage with brazilian well-known band Tuatha de Danann, and also with Statik Majik, in another show produced by Rio Metal Works, Rato no Rio and Fashion Produções.

December/2006
- Ocean Soul had a great ending of the year, taking part at Mackenzie Metal Works, done by Rio Metal Works, Rato no Rio and Fashion Produções. It was such a great underground party, and our performance had very special guests: Sabrina Carrión (Heavenfalls), Tácito Reis and Cesar Castro (Havora) and Leonardo Gomes (ex Death Mountain). Thanks to the organization staff for the invitation, and to our friends, for making this day really unforgettable!!
- "Letter of A Suicidal" songs are in the playlist of radio show ROCK MOTOR, every Saturday from 4 to 7pm on Radio Resistência FM 104,1 Mhz (West Zone - Rio de Janeiro). Ocean Soul thanks Luiz Henrique and all the show's staff for the support!! :-)

- One more Ocean Soul's show!! The band will take part of the last gig of Rio Metal Works in 2006, called MACKENZIE METAL WORKS, on December 3rd, at Clube Mackenzie (Méier - RJ). See details in our Tour Dates or HERE.
Ocean Soul will perform at Lona Cultural Hermeto Pascoal (Bangu-RJ) on September 23, together with the bands Dark Tower and Hicsos (which will pre-release its album "Technologic Pain"). The event will be produced by Rato no Rio, flyer and details on our Tour Dates. The album is on the way!! - "Letter of a Suicidal" will be at the stores next month!!
Jun/2006 Ocean Soul will take part in MEIER METAL FEST, at Clube Mackenzie (Meier/RJ), on July 02, together with 4 great underground heavy metal bands from Rio de Janeiro. Ocean Soul became one of the 12 most voted bands (3,83% of the preferences) of Rio de Janeiro, in the poll to choose who will take part of Brasil Metal Union 2006,the biggest underground festival of Brazil.We thank everyone who voted for us, even though we could not pass to the next level of the poll. THANK YOU SO MUCH, YOU ROCK !!!

Jan/2006 – OCEAN SOUL at “METAL SEM FOME” project
The first Ocean Soul’s show of the year was on January 21th, at SESC Madureira (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), together with the bands Death Mountain and Lost Forever. It was also the first date of “METAL SEM FOME”, a project created to give opportunity to underground Heavy Metal bands to play and show their work, and also to gather food donations, which were given to people in need. “METAL SEM FOME” was concepted and produced by the singers Tácito Reis (Death Mountain) and Andrea Pietro (Ocean Soul).

The album “Letter of a Suicidal”, the first of Ocean Soul, is being mixed by Renato Tribuzy and Sidney Sohn. It is expected to be finished in the beginning of 2006.
Jul/2005 – More special guests in “Letter of a Suicidal”
Singers Tácito Reis (Death Mountain) and Renato Tribuzy had recorded this month their parts in the album “Letter of a Suicidal”. Tácito shares the vocals with Andrea Pietro in the songs “Vincent and The Crows” and “Stronger Than Me”, and does the backing vocals in several tracks. Tribuzy took part in the title track, in which guitar player Kiko Loureiro (Angra) recorded a solo.

Singer Andrea Pietro is at studio recording the vocal parts of the álbum “Letter of a Suicidal”. Work is expected to be finished until next month.

Andrea Pietro and Daniel Larqué took part in the II Metal Jam Fest, at Campo Grande (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), 4 hours of covers of the best of Heavy Metal, from Hard Rock to Black Metal. Both represented the band at the gig, among other 40 musicians, from several undergrond bands of Rio de Janeiro.

Jan/2005 Kiko Loureiro in “Letter of a Suicidal"
Guitar player Kiko Loureiro (Angra) has just recorded a special participation on “Letter of a Suicidal”. He did the solos of the music that names the album.

Recording of the bass guitar parts of the álbum “Letter of a Suicidal” is finished. Next step will be the recording of the guitar parts, next January.

Ocean Soul is now pre-producing its debut album, named "Letter of a Suicidal". Producer Renato Tribuzy also wrote all of its songs, and all the lyrics were written by singer Andrea Pietro.
